GammaDesk — Privacy Policy

GammaDesk ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal options-analysis tool for iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it is used, and your choices. We have designed GammaDesk to collect as little as possible and to keep your sensitive credentials on your device.

Summary

• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
• Your broker and market-data API credentials are stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain, and are sent only to the relevant provider you choose.
• The only personal data associated with your account is the email address (or private relay identifier) used to sign in.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account or use Sign in with Apple or Google, we associate your session with an email address or a private-relay identifier. This is used solely to authenticate you and to determine your access status.

Market-data and broker credentials (stored on device only). If you connect a data provider (such as Polygon.io) or a brokerage (Tradier, Schwab/thinkorswim, tastytrade, Interactive Brokers), the API keys, tokens, or login details you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are transmitted directly to that provider to retrieve market data. We never receive, store, or have access to these credentials.

App settings. Preferences (selected symbol, refresh interval, guardrail thresholds, language, and similar) are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us.

No trading or financial-account data. GammaDesk does not place trades, move money, or record any positions, orders, or profit-and-loss information.

2. How we use information

We use the limited information above to authenticate your account, provide and maintain the app's features, determine access eligibility, and respond to support requests. Market data retrieved using your credentials is processed on your device to compute the analytics shown in the app.

3. Third parties

• Apple and Google — account authentication (Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In).
• Market-data and brokerage providers you choose (e.g. Polygon.io, Tradier, Schwab, tastytrade, Interactive Brokers) — receive the credentials and requests needed to return market data directly to your device, under their own privacy policies.

We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

4. Data retention and deletion

App settings and stored credentials live on your device and are removed when you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account, which removes the account and its associated data.

5. Security

Credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. Network requests use standard encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use the platform protections iOS provides.

6. Children

GammaDesk is not directed to children and is intended for adults making their own analysis decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app.
